12-14. Festival

February 11, 2011 at 8PM at Harold Golen Gallery.
Our season opening concert features works by local, national and International artists. Richard Dudas, a US composer and prominent music software programmer currently living in Seoul, Korea will be here to diffuse his 5 Etudes for synthesized computer sound. The program will continue with spectacular Quicksilver for video created by an up-and-coming Japanese computer music wiz C. Miyama. Metallic and liquid qualities of mercury inspired the creation of Quicksilver. Miami-based duo L. W. Moore and L. Seigido will premiere a set from their new program Sounds of Spirit and Synchronicity that promises to take vocals and audiovisual technologies to "where spirits roam and unseen forces shape reality."
Program:
Richard Dudas: 5 Etudes for multichannel computer sound
Chikashi Miyama: Quicksilver for video
--
Lawrence W. Moore and Liza Seigido: Sounds of Spirit and Synchronicity for vocals, electronics and video
